When you look at the world of creativity white people stand out.

 We write books, movies, songs, comic books. 

​

 We make video games, board games, puzzles. 

​

 We make art, paintings, pictures, etc. 

​

 The list goes on and on. If there's a creative field out there it's dominated by white people. 

​

 There's a good reason for this. During the cold winter months our ancestors had to find ways to pass the time. Since calories are at a premium during the winter months, creating stories and other low calorie entertainment was needed. 

​

 Our brains developed the ability to create as a way to stay sane during the cold winter months. 

​

 Our brains allow us to enter a world of fiction and convey that world to others. 

​

 It's quite a gift and one that reaches beyond the creative art and into science.
